Worcester Warriors sign Canada fly-half Connor Braid from Sky Sports

Worcester Warriors have signed Canada fly-half Connor Braid until the end of the season.

The versatile back, who can also play in the centre or the back three, will join up with the squad following Canada's match with Samoa on Friday.

Braid has been capped 21 times by his country, with his latest coming last weekend against Romania.

Canada Start November Tour in Ireland

Braid has returned to international rugby and gets the start against Ireland, a few days later it's announced on BCRN that he's signed by Worcester.

Canada Lose to Italy in World Cup

One of the low points of his career as he came out injured in that match after 10 minutes playing at inside centre and is replaced by Conor Trainor. It was a serious injury and it wasn't until March 2016 that he was seen on the field again playing for James Bay.

Canada Claims Bronze in World Games with Win Over France

The Maple Leafs headed to Colombia for the World Games and won Bronze in 7s. Besides Braid there was Kleeberger, Scholz, Douglas, Hammond, Webster and Meeres in the starting lineup.

Braid was selected at #10 over Parfrey who moved to inside centre for the game. Canada defeated Uruguay 28-10 with Tyler Ardron scoring a try.

Braid was one of three fly-halves invited to camp but Crowley eventually went with Ander Monro and Nathan Hirayama for the World Cup.
