Photos 1 to 4 are of the Carson Graham v Yale match, 5 to 12 of the Shawnigan v Gleneagle match. There was a top refereeing crew at the tournament, several referees who manage BC Premier matches like Chris Assmus, Kevin Smith, David Smortchevsky were officiating. The #1 seeds in AAA Shawnigan and AA Vanier both look strong. Vanier had some impressively large and quick forwards, their #8 was hard to stop. Shawnigan started slowly but found space out wide as the game wore on, their star back is Maggie Banks, daughter of Canadian legend Ryan Banks, at inside centre she usually draws in a couple of defenders freeing up space outside of her.

Photos 1 to 6 NorKam vs Langley
NorKam (Kamloops) Saints are a very well coached and organized team, they distributed the ball well and dominated in their match vs Langley. They'll face Abbotsford on Day 2, Abbotsford #6 upset Brentwood #3.

Photos 7 to 18 Robert Bateman v Mark Isfeld
This was a close match and one of the impact players was the Robert Bateman #10 Kira Peary, she scored 4 tries and controlled the game well from the flyhalf position. She definitely has national team potential and UBC/UVic will want to have this grade 11 student on their radar for a rugby scholarship. The photo sequence 12 to 15 shows her footwork skills as she beats the defender for one of her tries.
