Canada Win Silver for Third Time this Season, Hold Onto 3rd Place Tied on Points with 2nd Place Australia

The Canadian women have been on fire, they destroyed Australia for the second tournament in a row but just haven't been able to figure out the kiwis who have won every tournament except the first one this season.

Canada defeated USA 21-7 in the final pool round to finish 1st in their pool. They then defeated Australia 34-0 in the semis before losing 33-7 to NZ in the final.

Canada are now tied with Australia on 80 points, the tie breaker seems to be points/tries scored as Australia are still listed in the standings in 2nd and Canada 3rd.

Australia 80 pts: 71% win percentage, 689 points scored, 109 tries scored.
Canada 80 pts: 68% win percentage, 629 points scored, 101 tries scored.

Unfortunately the women don't participate in LA or Vancouver and their next action is in April at Hong Kong, then Langford and Paris in May.
