Dog River Howlers Rugby Club Organizes Support for Kenyan Rugby 7s Team – Coached by Former Canadian Coach Damian McGrath

Karl Fix and the Dog River Howlers have started a fundraising campaign to help Damian McGrath and the Kenyan rugby 7s team. There were reports that the players and staff haven’t been paid in 3 months and players were unable to provide the basic necessities for their families, some living in extreme poverty. Ebb Tide Over 40 Rugby Club Celebrating 50th Anniversary This Coming Friday and Saturday

The Ebb Tide Over 40 Rugby Club are celebrating their 50th anniversary on Friday and Saturday October 14 – 15, 2022. On the club’s website they note they are the oldest continuously operating Over-40 rugby club in British Columbia. They have active players between the ages of 38 and 70’s and active social members well into their 80’s. They are a member of the Pacific Northwest Over 40’s Rugby Union and players are eligible to play at 38 years.

The Celebration of Life for Bucky Ellison will be held at the Capilano Rugby Club on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 1:00pm. Please pass the date and time on to all those who knew Bucky. Dress for the event is “Summer Casual”. Speeches will be made from the main field with all the guests in the grandstands. We hope to see a large turnout of Capilano members to pay tribute to a Capilano Legend.

It was a lot to a little for the Jaguares XV side as they grew a 47-0 lead and coasted to a 80-10 win over the Ravens. The Ravens tries were scored by Blake Mahovic and Alex Ball. In the second game Penarol defeated American Raptors 26-10.

The Atlantic Selects, Atlantic Canada’s renewed high performance Men’s Rugby team, announced today their 2nd ever match. The team was founded in the fall of 2021 to help rebuild high performance Rugby in Atlantic Canada, and travelled to Toronto in October to play the Toronto Arrows.
