MLR Week 16 Review: 37 Canadians in Action, 25 Starters, 12 Reserves – New England, San Diego, Old Glory, Seattle Clinch Playoff Spots
In the East New England (58) have clinched top spot and Old Glory (38) have clinched a playoff spot. New York (37) looks certain to claim the other playoff spot in the East with 2 weeks remaining. Atlanta (27) have a slim chance of catching NY. In the West it’s still a battle between San Diego (64) and Seattle (58) for top spot with San Diego having the lead. Seattle have clinched a playoff spot and just need a point in their remaining two games to ensure home field in the semi-finals. Houston (48) are leading the race for the final playoff spot with Utah (44) still in contention.

Matt Heaton was top tackler for Atlanta, Andrew Quattrin and Cole Keith were in the top 3 for tackles for New England. Cole Keith was named to the MLR Team of the Week.
Old Glory 28 – New Orleans 15
Kyle Baillie scored a try for DC, Doug Fraser and Kyle Baillie were top 5 for running metres for DC. Kyle Baillie and Eric Howard were top 5 tacklers for their respective teams. Kyle Baillie was named to the MLR Team of the Week.

Houston 48 – Toronto 26
Owain Ruttan scored 2 tries for Toronto and Jack McRogers scored one. Rob Povey scored 11 points through the boot for Houston with 4 conversions and 1 penalty. Owain Ruttan was also top tackler for Toronto.
