Week 18 Results: 32 Canada-Eligible Players in Action on Final Weekend of Regular Season – Playoffs Start July 20th

The regular season has wrapped up, the playoff picture is set but won’t start for a few weeks to allow for the international test window. The playoffs start on July 20th with New England hosting Old Glory, Houston hosting Dallas, New Orleans hosting Chicago and Seattle hosting San Diego.

LA 31 – Utah 24

Starting for LA were Andrew Coe, Reegan O’Gorman and Seth Purdey, in the reserves was Conor Young. Utah had Rob Povey and Sam Reimer in reserves. Reegan O’Gorman was top tackler in the match for LA (15) and Andrew Coe had top running metres (121).

New England 40 – Anthem 7

New England had Kyle Baillie, Andrew Quattrin, Conor Keys, Piers von Dadelszen starting, in the reserves were Ethan Fryer, Ben Lesage, Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti, Foster Dewitt, Josh Larsen, Cole Keith. Anthem had Logan Weidner in reserves. Andrew Quattrin scored two tries for New England.

Chicago 38 – Miami 26

Chicago had Mason Flesch starting and Jason Higgins and Lucas Rumball in reserves. Miami had Shane O’Leary starting and Guiseppe du Toit in reserves. Shane O’Leary kicked two penalties for Miami and was top tackler for the team, Lucas Rumball was top tackler for Chicago.

Old Glory 27 – New Orleans 24

Old Glory had Tyler Rowland, Gradyn Bowd, Cali Martinez in reserves. NOLA had Callum Botchar starting.

Houston 29 – Dallas 28

Dallas had Liam Murray and Nic Benn starting, in the reserves were Dewald Kotze, Mitch Richardson and Brock Gallagher. Dewald Kotze scored a try for Dallas.

San Diego 45 – Seattle 33

San Diego had Blair Cowan starting and he scored a try. Even though he’s Canada eligible, it’s not known whether he’s interested in playing for Canada and he wasn’t on the Canada list for the July tests.
