MLR Week 4 Recap: Houston Remains Undefeated in West; New England & New Orleans Top East
There were 33 Canada-eligible players in action on the weekend in Week 4 of MLR, 24 starting which is the highest number this season. Houston remains the only undefeated side in the competition.
Seattle 40 – Houston 42
Reid Davis with his first start for Seattle made the top 5 list for tackles for Seattle.
Old Glory 11 – San Diego 27
Tyler Rowland with the start for DC with Gradyn Bowd and Cali Martinez in the reserves. For San Diego Canada-eligible Blair Cowan started and was top tackler for the Legion.
Miami 50 – Anthem 21
Shane O’Leary and Guiseppe du Toit started for Miami, it was GDT’s first start. O’Leary scored a try for Miami.
Dallas 22 – New Orleans 35
Dallas starters Liam Murray, Dewald Kotze, Mitch Richardson and Nic Benn, reserves Kyle Steeves, Makeen Alikhan and Brock Gallagher. For NOLA Callum Botchar with the start.
Chicago 17 – New England 22
Mason Flesch started for Chicago with Lucas Rumball on the bench. For New England it was Cole Keith, Josh Larsen, Andrew Quattrin, Conor Keys, Piers von Dadelszen, Ben Lesage, Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti with the start and Kyle Baillie in reserve. Mason Flesch was 2nd in tackle count for Chicago.
LA 36 – Utah 32
Five starters for LA, Andrew Coe, Conor Young, Jack Shaw, Matt Heaton, Reegan O’Gorman and Seth Purdey in reserves. For Utah Emerson Prior with the start and Rob Povey in the reserves. Andrew Coe scored two tries for LA.
