UBC Score Updates and Match Videos
The University of Bordeaux streaming crew had a rough go of the tournament. The weather wasn’t the most cooperative and several of the UBC match streams were interrupted. UBC’s five pool matches are below, the streaming improved over the course of the tournament.
Unfortunately UBC lost all 5 matches but were competitive in all and the average losing margin was 13 points. They’ll play for 5th/6th place against Sydney University in their final match on the 28th.
UBC v Bordeaux
This match video is only 22 minutes long and 14 minutes is where the match actually begins. There’s less than 8 minutes of match video but it does show the final score, 16-8 for Bordeaux.
UBC v Cape Town
There’s actually 32 minutes of match video here, Cape Town prevailed 24-7.
UBC v Atlantic All Star (USA)
This is a 2 hour video and has 2 matches, Bordeaux v Cape Town and UBC v Atlantic. Atlantic prevails 23-8.
UBC v Sydney
Another 2 hour video with 2 matches, Cape Town v Atlantic and UBC v Sydney. Sydney won this 21-5.
UBC v NZ
This is a 4 hour video with 4 matches, Bordeaux v Atlantic, UBC v NZ, Sydney v Cape Town and a women’s match NZ v Mauritius. NZ prevailed over UBC 21-12.
