Happy Canada Day 2026 – A Look Back at the Men’s 2025 Roster
With the Nations Cup kicking off on Saturday it seemed fitting to look at the men’s roster for 2025. This graphic is courtesy of the World Rugby media guide. The current Media Manager for Rugby Canada is Maxine O’Leary so I’m guessing she is responsible for putting this together. Well done!
There were 43 players used over 9 tests in 2025. There were 21 tries scored over those 9 matches, an average of 2.3 tries per match, and Tyler Ardron was the highest try scorer with 4, all in one game against the USA. There were 7 players who played all 9 matches Noah Flesch, Cole Keith, Dewald Kotze, Peter Nelson, Matt Oworu, Sion Parry, Piers von Dadelszen. Oworu and von Dadelszen were the only players to start in all 9 matches. Peter Nelson had the most points with 68. There were 9 new caps in 2025, of those 9 only 3 are in the 2026 Nations Cup squad this summer, Kyle Tremblay, Stephen Webb and Barnaby Waddell.
