VANCOUVER – Once again it all came down to the final game of the weekend, but this time the UBC Thunderbirds claimed the glory and the top spot ahead of the University of Victoria Vikes at the second Canada West women’s rugby 7s series tournament of the year.

Matt Klimchuk has been named as the 12th Vancouver Highlanders signing. Capped for Canada’s men’s senior team in 2022, Matt represented with Canada U20, Canada U18 and currently plays for the Pacific Pride, the Rugby Canada Academy team.
World Rugby confirmed that Scotland would host the Tier 2 Junior World Trophy Tournament (JWRT). It had already been known that South Africa would host the Tier 1 Junior World Championship (JWC).

Jacob Bossi has been named as the 11th Vancouver Highlanders signing. Jacob has been playing rep rugby since U16 when he represented BC at the national age-grade championships. He then went on to play Canada U18, Canada U20, the Pacific Pride and UBC.
