Pacific Pride Roster for the Fall 2025 Premier Season
This is the Pacific Pride playing roster for the fall of the 2025-26 season. There are 29 players listed including five U20 players. Some of the players may move on to MLR in the spring season and new players may come in for the spring part of the season. We’ve also listed the Pride schedule as of August 2025. The first match will be September 13th at UVic.
An early guess is that Kaden Duguid and Tyler Matchem would be good candidates to go on to MLR by the spring. Jesse Kilgour is another player to watch as a possible MLR transfer. Jamin Hodgkins would be a good candidate to get some Canada ‘A’ game time on his pathway to the senior team. Hopefully some Canada ‘A’ games can be scheduled for the 2025-26 season, the MLR teams are always looking for preseason matches in January/February. Simroy John, the U20 tighthead prop, is another player that is on a strong development cycle and needs some top level matches. Theo Espagnol has been a solid performer at hooker and we look forward to seeing his progress this season. Jaiden John is a big second row that is ready to expand his game, we’ll be watching his progress as well.

To complete the academy’s work, it should include international matches, overseas tours, or foreign teams coming to Canada.
P.S. James Stockwood, what happened to him? The new coach doesn’t consider him ready for the national team.
“It should include international matches, overseas tours, or foreign teams coming to Canada”
Wow great comments. We get better by playing against international.
However, BC Premier limit import players, (they are too GOOD), because some clubs don’t attract imports. Protectionist mentality, BC P. Premier league stays stagnant. Canada made it back into World Cup, because a lot of the Canadian Players got to play against good imports who came to Canada to play and Canadian players played in the MLR in the US to get better competition!!!
