Happening at BC Rugby Clubs throughout the Province every Sunday, Mini Rugby is a safe, non-contact version of the sport.
This Spring, there are three Mini Rugby Leagues taking place:

Season: February 4th – April 21st 2024
2024 Spring Mini Rugby Schedule: Vancouver Island
Clubs: Campbell River, Castaway Wanderers, Cowichan RFC, James Bay AA, Rapids Rugby, Westshore RFC

ABOUT MINI RUGBY
Our young athletes play a variation of rugby called Rookie Rugby. Rookie Rugby is a fun, safe version of the sport allowing players to learn the Laws of the Game without any bumps or bruises.
Based on the current Age-Grade Law Variations, players between the ages of 5-10 will play non-contact.
Players aged 10-12 can begin the transition to tackle (contact Rugby) based on comfort level.
