ISPARC Invites Applications for Hosting Indigenous Youth Sport Camps

ISPARC, the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council, has put out its annual invitation for hosting sports camps or clinics aimed at Indigenous youth. Rugby is on the list of approved sports. Usually ISPARC will cover the costs of the hosting if approved.

If you’re thinking of hosting a rugby camp focused on Indigenous youth as a school or club, contact John Lyall at Thunder Rugby, jlyall@thunderrugby.ca – Thunder Indigenous Rugby along with their partners BC Grassroots Rugby and MacDowell Rugby, might, depending on dates, be able to assist in providing coaches with experience in running Indigenous focused youth camps. Thunder Rugby have been running Indigenous youth rugby programs in BC since 2013 and have alumni across the province who might be able to provide support.

Program/Event Delivery Period: Application Deadline:
January 1 to March 31 November 30
April 1 to June 30 March 31
July 1 to September 30 May 30
October 1 to December 31 September 15*
