Saratoga Cup – June Updates

Williams Lake Undefeated in Interior, Yeti/Vernon Battle for Top Spot in Okanagan, Rocky Mountain Rogues Dominant in Kootenays

The Saratoga Cup final tournament takes place August 8th/9th in Fernie with the top team from the three regions getting an invite with host Elk Valley automatically qualifying. The current standings for the three regions are listed below courtesy of the BCRU.

Central Interior

Williams Lake tops the table going into the last weekend before the playoffs. This coming weekend will see a club day at Terrace where each team will get two matches. Williams Lake will play Prince Rupert and Terrace, Terrace and Prince Rupert will also face Prince George.

Okanagan

Yeti are current league leaders but Vernon have a game in hand and they play Penticton this weekend. In July they have the semi-finals and the finals.

Kootenays

Rocky Mountain Rogues look the dominant team in this region. They host Elk Valley this weekend. In July both teams will play Trail. Elk Valley are hosts of the Saratoga Cup so get automatic qualification. Based on current results it looks like Rocky Mountain Rogues will join them in the final tournament.
