Spain and Zimbabwe Release Extended Rosters: Waiting on Rugby Canada – A Look at the November 2025 Rosters
As we wait for Canada’s extended roster announcement for their summer tests against Spain, Portugal and Zimbabwe we look at Canada’s last rosters from November 2025. We’re also collecting the rosters of the teams they’re playing against. Spain and Zimbabwe have released their extended rosters and we’ve appended those below. We’ll add Canada and Portugal when they’re released.
There’s some anticipation in seeing Canada’s extended roster. Some certainties would be the Chicago Four, Rumball, Flesch, Oworu and Webster. Webster didn’t feature in Canada’s fall 2025 teams but he’s on top of his game this season with Chicago at fullback. Canada went with Rob Povey at #10 for the 2025 fall tests, will Cooper Coats return, how about Lockie Kratz who was outstanding in the BC v Ontario series. Brock Gallagher and Jason Higgins featured at #9, will anyone be challenging that duo? Then there are the props, Wes Black was outstanding in the BC v Ontario series, will he be given a chance? In the centres the McMullin brothers and Ben Lesage didn’t feature in the fall 2025 series but all look to be healthy now. In the second row Izzak Kelly returns from Portugal, Callum Botchar became a starter in Seattle, but Reegan O’Gorman and Don Carson looked good for BC this spring. Cody Nhanala was the player of the series against Ontario but where do you fit him in with Rumball, Flesch and Oworu owning the fall 2025 loose forwards? We anticipate the announcement will be coming soon from Rugby Canada.
