Excellent field conditions and sunny weather were the backdrop for another strong outing by the Ravens. While the hosts had possession and ran at the Ravens in the early going it didn’t take long for the Ravens to notch a few tries and dampen the hopes of the home crowd.

The Canada men’s XVs team are hosting 3 international matches this summer, two in Ottawa versus Scotland and Romania in July and one in Vancouver versus Japan in August. The tickets for the Ottawa matches go on sale April 25th.

Canada embarks on their 2024 Pacific Four Series with matches against USA, Australia and NZ. The top 3 teams advance to the WXV 1 tournament which is being hosted in BC this year.
It’s the final weekend of the regular season, the playoffs start next weekend. The rugby weekend kicks off with a Friday night match, Pride @ Westshore at Juan de Fuca centre.
Dewald Kotze and Mitch Richardson are the first Canadian players to reach 7 starts as the season enters Week 7. Seth Purdey gets his first start for LA. Reid Davis gets his second start at blindside flanker for Seattle. Overall there were 20 Canada-eligible players starting and 8 in the reserves.
The two fraternal clubs took the field on a cool afternoon at UBC in the Ravens’ 50th year to renew their friendly rivalry. But friendships aside the Ravens went to work early punishing UBC for any missteps they made.
ESPN Rugby was a great resource for finding historical information on Canadian Rugby. In 2021 they focused their attention on the Tier 1 nations and the historical information on Tier 2 countries like Canada has been getting harder to find.
