BCSSRU 3rd Annual Pro-D Coaching Clinic on Friday, October 21, 2022: Register Now
This year there are 2 sites, one for the Lower Mainland and one for Vancouver Island.
On the Lower Mainland, the clinic will be held at St. Georges School in Vancouver, led by Head Coach Mike Styles and a strong supporting cast of top coaches. The headline guest presenter will be Graeme Moffat, formerly with Rugby Canada and currently the Head Coach of the University of Lethbridge Womens program. You can read his rugby bio at:

On Vancouver Island, the clinic will be held at Shawnigan Lake School, led by Tim Murdy and a strong supporting cast of coaches from Rugby Canada. These include Phil Mack, the Head Coach of the Pacific Pride Rugby Canadas Mens Development XV, John Tait, the Technical Director of BC Rugby, Jeff Williams, Ian Hyde-Lay, Barbara Mervin and several others, all of whom have Rugby Canada credentials as a player, a coach or both.
To register, simply email Walter van Halst at vanhalst_w@surreyschools.ca or text me at (778)855-9937 and indicate three things: 1) Your name and school, 2) Which clinic you will be attending and finally, 3) How many coaches from your school will be attending to allow us to plan.
Please note:
The cost of registration is only $ 50 per school and there is an unlimited number of coaches per school. There is no need to pay either in advance or at the event. Schools will be invoiced by the BCSSRU after the clinics are completed and teachers are free to use Pro-D funds for this.
Also, coaches are reminded to please dress for the weather and to bring your own lunch. Coffee and muffins will be provided in the morning. Please respond promptly, to allow us to plan. Both clinics will begin at 9 am and conclude by 3 pm.
