*Edmonton 7s Starts Saturday: Canada Rosters, Pools and Schedule*
There’s one change for both the men’s and women’s team. On the men’s side Thomas Isherwood gets his first 7s cap while Elias Ergas sits this tournament out. On the women’s side Florence Symonds gets her first cap while Ella O’Regan sits out the tournament.
The men are in a pool with South Africa, Hong Kong and Mexico. Canada will likely come second in that pool with wins over Hong Kong and Mexico. That result would likely give them a QF matchup with Great Britain on Sunday, the probable winner of Pool C.
The men’s Day 1 schedule is vs Hong Kong 10:15, Mexico 13:26 and South Africa 17:33.
The women’s schedule Day 1 is vs USA 8:00, GB 11:33, and Mexico 14:22.
