Week 17 Results: 29 Canada-Eligible Players in Action
There’s one week left in the regular season. The West playoff picture is clear, Houston will host Dallas and Seattle will host San Diego. In the East the top four playoff spots are known but the order can still be changed based on next weekend’s results, currently it would be New England hosting DC and NOLA hosting Chicago.
Seattle 29 – LA 12
LA had 5 Canadians in the roster, starting were Jack Shaw, Seth Purdey, Reegan O’Gorman, Matt Heaton. Conor Young was in the reserves. It was an all Canadian officating crew with ref Robin Kaluzniak and AR’s Chris Assmus and Clint Lemkus. Seth Purdey scored for LA.
New Orleans 27 – New England 17
NOLA had Callum Botchar in reserves. New England had 6 Canadian players, starting were Conor Keys, Foster Dewitt, Ethan Fryer, Ben Lesage – in reserves were Cole Keith and Piers von Dadelszen. Foster Dewitt scored a try for New England.
Chicago 38 – Anthem 29
Anthem had Logan Weidner in reserves. Chicago had Lucas Rumball and Jason Higgins in reserves.

Miami had Shane O’Leary and Guiseppe du Toit in the reserves. DC had Tyler Rowland, Gradyn Bowd and Cali Martinez in reserves.

Utah had Emerson Prior starting and Rob Povey, Sam Reimer in reserves. Dallas had Dewald Kotze, Mitch Richardson and Connor Grindal starting, Liam Murray, Kyle Steeves and Brock Gallagher in reserves. Brock Gallagher scored a try for Dallas.
