Day 2 U19 Live Stream
The U19 live stream was contracted out to a company, We Film Events, and we said we would do a review after the tournament. We would give them a 6 out of 10, not the best. There was a lot of lag in the video throughout the tournament, either a problem with their internet connection or their laptop hardware/software. The commentary by Chris Assmus and Jake Thiel (on Day 1) was great but the video was poor as commented on by viewers of the live stream.

The PRC, Provincial Regional Championships, kick off on Saturday at Abbotsford’s Exhibition Park. The good news is that the BCRU have decided to go pro on the U19 live stream using a Vancouver company called We Film Events, we’ll grade them after we see their production. The U17 and U15 streams will use the Veo Ai system without commentary. The bad news is that the U19 girls couldn’t get enough numbers in the Vancouver and Interior regions to put in teams, so they’re joining the Vancouver/Interior regions into an exhibition team. They will play the Island Tide and Valley Venom teams on Saturday but it will be Island v Valley for U19 girls gold on Sunday. All the live stream links are here.
