USA National 7s in Seattle This Weekend; RugbyTown 7s in Glendale Next Weekend
A couple of notable 7s tournaments coming up south of the border over the next couple of weekends.
First up is the USA National Rugby 7s Championship this weekend and it’s being hosted in Seattle. More info is available on their website: www.usaclub7s.com
There are some Seattle Rugby Club members in the tournament on the Westside Ronins and the Washington Athletic Club (WAC). WAC are one of the tournament favourites in the men’s division. That squad includes:

The following weekend will be the RugbyTown 7s in Glendale. There’s usually some Canadian players repping, the North American Lions are made up of players from partner academies and that includes Upright Rugby from Ontario.

There’s not much happening in Canada for 7s tournaments that we’re aware of, the Edmonton Rugbyfest is on for September 3-5 and even though they have an Elite division there’s no mention of the teams registered so far. More details can be found on their website at: www.yegsevens.com
