The Celebration of Life for Bucky Ellison will be held at the Capilano Rugby Club on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 1:00pm. Please pass the date and time on to all those who knew Bucky. Dress for the event is “Summer Casual”. Speeches will be made from the main field with all the guests in the grandstands. We hope to see a large turnout of Capilano members to pay tribute to a Capilano Legend.

Sad News – Bucky Ellison
It is with great sadness that the Capilano Rugby Club announces the passing of Bucky Ellison. This is very sad news for the entire Capilano family. Bucky passed away in the afternoon on July 5, 2022. The Ellison family wanted to make sure the sad news was passed on to Capilano RFC members.
Bucky was an original Capilano and the first scrum half for the club. He played many representative matches for Nor/West Vancouver Reps and for the BC Provincial team. Bucky was the second President of the Capilano Rugby Club and has always been a huge supporter of rugby at Klahanie Park. Bucky was truly a Capilano for life.
The entire Capilano Rugby Club sends it heartfelt condolences to the entire Ellison family. Bucky will be greatly missed at Klahanie Park. The club will pass along any more information from the family as its become available.
