BC Rugby Weekend of March 2nd 2024
BC Premier Week 9 Results & Rosters: Pride Top Caps, UVic Trounced by Lomas, Westshore Fall to Ravens, Burnaby Overpower UBC
The men’s Premier entered Week 9 with 5 weeks to follow before the playoffs. The Lomas, previously undefeated, had dropped to 3rd place with their loss to the Ravens but roared back to demolish UVic this week and claim top spot again. The women’s Premier kicked off this week as well and featured a number of one sided scorelines.

Ravens Strike Early Ravens 36 – Lomas 10: Match Report by Peter MacDonald
Rugby was back at Jericho after the long winter break and the fans, who were Jonesing for a game, as Georgian/Old Boy Bobby Brown is wont to say, got a three-game slate with wins across the board for the home club. The Lomas, who have been setting the standard for the past year, crossed over Alma Street from “County Kits” and suffered their first loss of the season at the Premier level and, like last year, they will look to reverse things if the two teams were to meet again in the playoffs.

BC Premier Week 8 Results: Pride Top UVic, Ravens Shock Undefeated Lomas, UBC Blast Westshore, Caps Fall to Burnaby, CW Overpower Bays
It was Week 8 of the BC Premier with 6 more weeks of regular season to go after the 2 week break for Family Day Weekend and the Vancouver 7s, season restarts March 2nd. The Lomas were looking to defend their unbeaten record on the road against the 6-1 Ravens. .

BC Premier Week 7 Results: UBC Top Capilano; Pride Blank Bays; Meraloma Defeat CW; Burnaby Edge Westshore; Ravens Soar Past UVic
The BC Premier returns for Week 7 after the winter break. All 10 teams are in action with Lomas sitting in the top spot and undefeated. There are some roster changes from November with MLR players returning to camp and the Pride getting some new faces. The rosters listed below are in the format last match/this match.
