The Rugby Network to Live Stream Four MLR Matches This Weekend (3 in Canada) – All Six Matches Archived for Replay

The Rugby Network a collaborative effort between MLR and RugbyPass, the service owned by Sky Sport NZ, will provide live streaming of four MLR matches this weekend. The Toronto v Atlanta match will be blacked out in Canada since TSN will provide the live feed on TSN 2. Here is Saturday’s schedule with the Live Stream matches indicated.

MLR Updates – February 2021

Washington D.C. Franchise Relieved by News of State COVID Restrictions Easing

With MLR set to start in just over 3 weeks many teams are looking to see what sort of gate revenue they’ll be able to generate. The Old Glory DC franchise in Washington D.C. were relieved to find out their seating capacity will go up to 30% of maximum, meaning they’ll be able to fit over 1,000 people into their home opener. Canadians Doug Fraser, Luke Campbell and Ciaran Hearn play for the franchise.

Toronto Arrows to Move Base to Atlanta; MLR Issues New Schedule

Major League Rugby opens its schedule in just over 6 weeks and there has been some scrambling to make it happen in the COVID world. San Diego has moved to Vegas, Dallas dropped out and now Toronto has moved home base to Atlanta. The schedulers at MLR HQ are trying to keep up and just released a revised schedule which can be found here.

San Diego Legion Move Home Games to Vegas; Luke Campbell Signs with Old Glory in DC

With MLR about to start in just over 7 weeks, teams may be getting a little nervous about local COVID rules and regulations in their area. The San Diego team acted decisively and announced they’re playing home games in neighbouring Nevada, and where else but in Vegas, about 400km away as the crow flies.
