Also the Rugby Premier League in India kicks off next weekend. It’s a 7s league that has brought in a number of high profile players to compete over a 2 week period. There are 9 Canadian players involved. It should be interesting, not only for the level of play, but the media reaction, the crowd sizes and a test of running a rugby 7s league over 2 weeks in a non-traditional rugby market.
