Comox Rapids U18 Girls in Scotland
The Comox Valley U18 girls team, the Rapids, are currently touring northern England and Scotland and doing quite well. They defeated Northern RFC, based in Newcastle, 24-22 in their first match. They then defeated Borders 59-5 in Melrose, Scotland and are finishing their tour up in Edinburgh. You can follow their tour on their Instagram account.
Canada U20 Women 7s at Junior Pan Am Games
Canada will participate in the Asuncion 2025 Junior Pan American Games in August with a Canadian U20 women’s sevens team coached by Brittany Waters taking to the field at Paraguay’s Olympic Park. You can read more on the Rugby Canada site.

The BCRU announced today the club finals will be held at Abbotsford Exhibition Stadium on May 3rd. The announcement is posted below.
BC Rugby is delighted to confirm the 2025 BC Rugby Senior Club Finals will take place at Abbotsford Exhibition Park, home of Abbotsford RFC, on Saturday, May 3 – buy your early bird discounted tickets now!
Featuring seven Championship Finals from BC Rugby’s Senior Club Leagues, including the BC Rugby Men’s Premier League and BC Rugby Women’s Premier League, the action will be split across two fields as the flagship end-of-season celebration makes an exciting return to the BC Rugby calendar.
Take advantage of an early bird 25% discount on tickets! Tickets will be priced at $7.50 for ages 14-18 and $15 for ages 19+ until 11:55pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
After April 6, tickets will be priced at $10 for ages 14-18 and $20 for anyone aged 19+. Tickets can be purchased online and will also be available on the day of the event.
