Go Fund Me Campaign to Support Rugby Player Losing Battle with Cancer

from Nicole Pasquino

I’m writing in hopes that you will share the following fund me for one of our BC fellow Rugby alumni https://gofund.me/e8de763b

Lisa Oehler, affectionately known as Skippy to all of her rugby community is one of the original members of the Meraloma Women’s Rugby team. Sadly, she is losing her battle with cancer and will be leaving behind a 7 year old daughter and loving husband who has had to stop work to care for her. We have launched the go fund me to raise as many dollars as possible, so they can spend their last valuable days and months together.

It would be immensely helpful if you could share this go fund me on your platform. Our family is big fans of BC rugby news, and we have been following you for years.

Thank you for the consideration.

Cheers in sport, Nicole

The U20 regional competition, the Dunbar Keg, kicks off on Saturday with two matches, one at UBC and one at UVic.
