Adam Roberts who has been heavily involved in rugby development in BC has taken the initiative to organize a meeting December 4th, specifically looking at growing the boys game at the high school level in BC. His note is below along with a link to register.

The Vancouver Wave are proud to announce an exciting opportunity thanks to our partnership with Langara Fishing Adventures. In support of the Vancouver Wave men’s team for the 2021 Coastal Cup, a fishing trip for two is up for auction! The trip is valued at more than $11,000. Money raised will go towards successfully running this year’s campaign, including covering field rental, travel, equipment and kit expenses, medical/trainer supplies, and general operating costs.

The best result for the TWU program this season as they kept the game close. This is their match report:
Canada were leading in the match 17-15 with time showing elapsed on the on-screen clock. The forwards were trying to run the clock down with pick and goes but when Conor Keys had a go, he hit the ground in an awkward position, the support was a fraction late arriving and Portugal won the penalty.

Rugby Canadas Senior Womens 15s team took to the field against USA Rugby at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado, earning a 15-9 win in the first of two Pacific Four Series matches that will take place this week.
The women’s university national tournament will take place at Queen’s University in Kingston between November 10-14. Laval are ranked #1, Queen’s #2, UBC #3 and Acadia #4. UVic are ranked 8th.
It was so good to be back together.
Friday, October 22 saw a first post-Covid high school rugby gathering, as the BC Secondary Schools Rugby Union (BCSSRU) hosted coaching clinics on the province wide Professional Development day.
