The 2022 World Rugby 7s series starts November 2021 with two consecutive tournaments in Dubai. It then moves to Spain for two consecutive tournaments in January. From there the men move to Vancouver (Feb 26-27) and LA (March 5-6) for tournaments.

Canada have been to every World Cup since it was organized in 1987, that’s 9 in total. They won’t make it to #10. There’s a lot of soul searching going on in the rugby community. Here are some of the on point reactions.

It was a 7 try to 2 win for the Pride, up 4 tries to 1 in the first half. The Tide closed out the scoring with a late try.
There will be a long hard look at Canada’s men’s XVs program and the leadership at Rugby Canada after they were knocked out of the Rugby World Cup for the first time since its inception in 1987. Chile were the better team on the day and played with an intensity that was lacking for Canada.
World Rugby officially announced the November tour schedule. For Canada men that means a trip to Portugal and Belgium, for the women they have two tests against the USA before taking off to England and Wales.
The Coastal Cup is ongoing in BC but the club leagues will start on October 16th. The Premier will be played in the spring, the fall leagues are Div 1, 2 and 3.
UPDATES: The Rugby Network reported that Tyler Ardron has flown back to Canada “The 30-year-old from Lakefield, Ontario posted on his Instagram story after his professional club Castres Olympique defeated RC Toulon 27-16 over the weekend at State Pierre-Fabre that he was flying back to Canada from France saying “Let’s get it @Rugby Canada”” Read the full story here
